Wine
Serrat Fourre-Tout literally translates to 'catchall' in French. It brings together a small parcels of fruit from the winery's newer plantings.
It is typically comprised of Barbera, Malbec, Grenache and Nebbiolo. The Barbera's richness is held in check by savoury notes of the Malbec and Nebbiolo, while Grenache provides fragrance.
The idea is that none of the varieties is dominant, but the essence of each shines through in the final wine.
Deep crimson, Serrat Fourre-Tout is juicy and rich with brambly fruit flavours and chewy tannins. Cellaring potential is four years.
